11% of Cape Verdean families own a car. 8% of have one car and 3% have two.
The possession of a number of luxury goods are distributed among Cape Verdean families as follows:
 
  • 64% have a gas or electric stove
  • 9% have a microwave
  •  41% have a refrigerator
  •  7% have a washing machine
  •  52% have a telephone
  •  49% have a television
  •  75% have a radio
  • 2% have a computer without internet connection
  •  2% have a computer with internet connection
  • 20% of families have a cellular phone (that is, at least one person in the family owns a cellular phone)
